The jacuzzi room was one of the worst parts of my vacation. As soon as we turned it on, the water smelled like garbage, so I had to get out and shower. I also got food poisoning twice. The soup and breakfast seemed stale or old; only the eggs and coffee tasted fresh. This was my second stay here and my last. My first visit was really nice, even though breakfast wasn’t good, because I only had dinners and that’s what made me want to return. I’m writing in English to explain how frustrating this was.

The staff were kind and attentive, and we loved unwinding in the warm jacuzzi each evening. We spent three nights at Hacienda Combo in Armenia, with a comfortable room and a beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious, and for the price it was excellent value. Everything felt perfect, and we’d happily come back.

We found the room a bit small for two adults and two kids, though the beds were very comfortable. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. It’s also a great base for day trips around the coffee region, and the staff are so friendly. The reception team were always smiling and made us feel welcome. The restaurant was very good, with delicious food and an amazing team. Oscar was incredible, his attention to detail and smile made a real difference. When we had visitors one afternoon and stayed at the hotel, he made us feel at home.

Tito was a fantastic receptionist. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly helpful and lovely, and you could tell they really wanted to assist. The hotel is surrounded by nature, too. Don’t miss the coffee tour, you learn so much about coffee and it’s an unforgettable experience. If you’re lucky, a special guide may accompany you the whole way 🤭.
