Hostal Familiar Jerico

The hosts really made our stay. Marta was especially welcoming and went out of her way to help. She gave us a map, suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and clear directions for visiting attractions on our own. She also spoke slowly and patiently, which gave us a great chance to practice our Spanish. Our room was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the daily breakfast of coffee, fruit, and cheese bread. Hostel Familiar Jerico suited us perfectly, and I’d recommend it to other couples.

Marta was so sweet, friendly, and helpful. She helped us arrange our trip and shared some great recommendations. I only wish we could have stayed longer! We had everything we needed in our quaint room, and all the extra blankets made it really cosy. The bathroom was clean, though it wasn’t attached to our room. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh fruit, bread, and strong coffee. The hostel is just a two-minute walk from the town centre, near all the shops and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean, and the warm, helpful hospitality went beyond what we expected. We felt right at home here, and Martha and her husband were wonderful hosts. They shared tips about the region, served a delicious breakfast, and arranged the best coffee tour at Luger. We were lucky to meet two lovely couples at the hostel, and for a little while it felt like being with family again. So grateful for the stay.
