Hotel Green House

We were lucky to get upgraded, and had a wonderful stay in the Penthouse. The place is modern, has lots of amenities, and is very well located. The team gave us an extremely warm welcome and were always ready to help. The owner's and staff's kindness was incredibly generous. Thank you all for taking the time to communicate with us despite the language difficulties.

I'd strongly advise against staying here. Communication was a major problem: none of the staff spoke even basic English, and they wouldn't try to communicate until guests used a Spanish-English translator. There was only one hairdryer in the whole hotel. Guests who borrowed it kept it until checkout, and staff wouldn't step in to sort it out. They seemed to invest in gadgets like electronic locks and "Alexa"-style speakers while overlooking basic comfort. The room doors let through every sound from the hallway. The bathroom constantly smelled of sewage, and the impractical sink faucet sprayed water everywhere, flooding the area. The windows were small, high rectangular openings near the ceiling, about 2.5 metres up, and couldn't be closed. Noise started early in the morning, and cold air came into the room. We left our luggage at the front desk an hour before check-in. Without telling us, staff took one bag to a room, and we spent a long time thinking our backpack had been stolen. The hotel was seriously lacking in organization, communication, and basic service. I definitely wouldn't stay again.

The staff were very attentive and always ready to help, and the location is excellent, close to Calle Real, the Salento viewpoint, and restaurants. The rooms are fantastic, and the hotel itself is spectacular. Highly recommended.
