Birdsong was about all we heard in the mornings, and the place made it easy to slow down and get away from the city. We came for a team breakaway and found the rooms clean and comfortable, with a peaceful, ranch-like feel and nature all around. A lovely spot to unplug and catch your breath.

About two hours from Medellín, this is a quiet countryside retreat with fresh air and a real sense of privacy. A good choice for couples or a small group looking to get away from the city bustle.

The mountain views were some of the most stunning I’ve ever seen. Juleixa, Maria, and Juan were so welcoming and easy to talk to, and the food was outstanding. I also loved horseback riding with Juan. Getting there is an adventure, but it’s well worth it. I hope I can come back.

We had 42 guests come from the USA and South America for my Mom’s birthday at La Finca El Diamante, and the place felt magical. The rooms and outdoor spaces are beautiful, with breathtaking views, and the staff paid close attention to making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Chef Antonio made delicious Colombian food every day. Manager Tom Provost helped organize everything for our group, from coffee tours and horseback riding to eco walking tours and a picnic at the top of the mountain. He also arranged bus and helicopter transportation, all handled perfectly. La Finca recommended an incredible five-piece band for the party, too. It’s hard to put into words how special the venue is. We’d book El Diamante again without hesitation, and would love to return even just as a couple.

Up in the mountains, Finca el Diamante is a private, one of a kind farm stay with five-star service and rooms. The chef turns fresh ingredients into exquisite meals, and the activities include a heated pool, ping pong, board games, plus horse and mule rides. It’s the most luxurious farm I’ve stayed at.
