Stephanie was an amazing host, and the hostel is well located in beautiful San Agustin. It was clean and had hot water, plus a great kitchen for making your own meals. The rooftop was set up nicely for relaxing and had an amazing view. Highly recommend!

The terrace was beautiful, with a stunning sunset view, and I never had to wait for one of the four bathrooms and showers. I spent four nights at Bambu Hostel and had a peaceful, welcoming stay in a comfortable, spacious private room. They offer laundry back the same day, kitchen access, and tours and activities around San Agustin. Gerard, the owner, was generous and kind, always ready to help. I’ll definitely return.

We meant to stay three nights, then extended for a week. It’s an affordable, really lovely hostel with everything we needed. There are lots of activities you can book through the hostel, and the breakfast is great. The rooftop is a relaxing place to sit and take in the lovely views across San Agustín.

The rooftop has a great city view and is a nice spot to relax and meet other guests. The hostel has a lovely atmosphere, and it’s one of the most comfortable places I’ve stayed in Colombia. It was impeccably clean, and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Syephanie, the manager, is especially sweet and always happy to help. Breakfast is available for just 12k pesos, and they have a range of activities in the area.

The rooftop is lovely, with hammocks and tasteful wood and stone details. The host is really nice and speaks English too. One of the coziest, cleanest hostels I’ve stayed in.
