The rooms were basic, just what you’d expect for the price, and the hotel had a relaxed, unpretentious feel. It’s a quaint place, well located for walking to the beach or around town. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was roomy and very clean, and the price was great. The service was amazingly friendly. It’s a 20-25 minute walk to the Zona Rosa, though cabs can be hard to find just by walking around near the hotel. Also, a shout-out to the cleaning lady, who was extremely kind and professional.

We arrived after booking well in advance and getting an email confirmation, only to find there was no room. We tried to give them a chance to sort it out, but after dark they sent us all over town claiming they’d booked other rooms. Each time, it turned out they hadn’t. They just didn’t want to deal with it. Other guests were facing the same problem, so the place seemed like a disaster. We also heard that the air didn’t work and rooms were dirty. After two hours of this, we had to wander around in the dark and find somewhere ourselves. Can’t recommend it.
