Down Town Beach

The reception was awful, and they promise things the guesthouse doesn’t have, like a hair dryer. The shower barely gives a thread of water, the air conditioning doesn’t cool properly, and the ceiling is damaged and full of holes. The floors are broken and bulging, the beds are crooked, and the walls in my room were made of PVC panels. The guesthouse is old and feels more like a hostel. The website says it’s 600m from the center, but taking the beach route, which feels less dangerous, it’s at least about 2km and a very long walk. Other guests were disrespectful, too. I wouldn’t stay here again, even for free.

For the price, this place is more than adequate. It’s decent and inexpensive, though neither pretty nor ugly. The beach is about a 15-minute walk, maybe less, and a bit farther from the "I

The building needs a lot of work, and quite a few things are in poor shape, starting with the facade. It wasn’t what the photos showed when I booked. As a tourist, I’d only stay the night. At least it’s not too far from the sea.

We asked for our money back and went elsewhere. The place was dirty and nothing like the ads on accommodation websites. They advertised a pool but didn’t have one, and the rooms were shared without that being mentioned.
