We booked late and ended up here. The Wi-Fi barely worked, our room had no towels or AC remote, and the TV was broken. The small, overworked staff tried to fix these things, but the stay was uncomfortable. Sometimes the cleaning staff didn’t come, and issues like that kept cropping up.

Out of my three trips to San Andrés, this has been the best place I’ve stayed. The price feels fair for what you get, and the service is kind. There’s a nice pool and a good location, with buses to anywhere on the island costing less than $1 USD. The place is clean and comfortable, and breakfast and dinner are good.

We had booked three months in advance for our first getaway together, and now, just 36 hours before we arrive, they’ve emailed to say the hotel is oversold and we need to find somewhere else. That’s completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Their poor administration has ruined our trip.

We checked out immediately after seeing the room, and the staff showed no understanding or goodwill. They said the problems weren’t their fault, but whose fault are they? On top of charging us for the first night, they added a 10% processing fee. The place was dirty everywhere, including the floor, bathroom, bed, air conditioning and reception. There was no hot water, and the so-called shower was just a pipe sticking out of the wall. The entrance is reached by an unpaved street, much of the property is under construction, and it’s not in a good area. I don’t understand how this “hotel” gets good reviews.
