A good hostel in a central spot, close to restaurants and the beach. The bunk beds are clean and comfortable, there are plenty of bathrooms and showers, and there’s a nice soaking pool for hot days. The kitchen is decent, coffee is free all day, and the staff are friendly.

The central location is the only good thing. We paid a high price for a private room and found it really disappointing. We’ve gone two days without warm water, and each time they say they’re waiting for someone to fix it, but nobody ever comes. The room is spacious, but the bathroom sink wasn’t clean. It faces a street through a single glass entry door that blocks no noise at all, and the little jacuzzi outside makes a constant sound that we can’t stop. Bring the best earplugs you can if you want to sleep. The staff don’t speak English and don’t seem to care much about good service. We couldn’t even speak with the manager when we wanted to complain and ask for a discount because there was no hot water. The shared kitchen has never been cleaned and smells terrible.

The front desk staff were friendly throughout our stay, and the location is an easy five-minute walk to the beach and downtown. We couldn’t check in until 3 pm, but they held our bags and let us use the bathrooms and couches while we waited. The room was just okay. We were out most of the day, so the air conditioning, clean sheets and warm shower water were enough for us. There’s no landline in the room, and other guests, who were drunk, stayed up late making noise outside by the hot tub.

The hostel was clean and well maintained, with super comfortable beds. It’s very close to the island’s main beach, and the woman at reception was really nice and spoke very good English. The bar underneath plays incredibly loud music on weekends. I can’t recommend Friday, Saturday or Sunday if you want to relax and get to sleep before 3 in the morning.
