Ingrid took great care of us, and the person responsible for the rooms kept them perfectly clean. They respond to your needs as long as those things are part of the service you booked. The location is excellent, near the airport, beach, and town center, with shared taxis, regular taxis, and motorcycle taxis easy to find.

What bothered me most was the owner moving my belongings and putting them where she thought they belonged, twice, without warning. That felt like a total invasion of privacy. There’s no reception desk either, so no one is there to help if something goes wrong. The apartment was tiny, the bathroom worse. There wasn’t a shower, just a tap with very little water, and turning on the TV was a nightmare because it kept crashing. I understand some limits on an island, but we paid a lot for this location and the amenities weren’t good. It’s near the airport, which can save on taxis, but far from the center. The walk every day was exhausting. I don’t recommend staying here.

This is close to the airport, but there are much better places to stay. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for more than one night. I called manager Ingrid and was offered a room for 60,000 pesos, from 10 pm until 8 am the next day. When I got there, she wasn’t around. A man told me the regular price was 150,000 pesos, but they’d charge me 80,000 because I was alone. That wasn’t what I’d been told on the phone. Arriving late, at 10 pm, I felt they were taking advantage of my situation. The room looked dated, the curtains didn’t cover the windows, and the fan was very loud. The TV didn’t work. The bathroom was so small I had to use the toilet with the door open. The sink was outside it, right beside the mini-fridge.

Doña Rosa is friendly and charges good prices. If you don’t like your room, she’ll show you which other ones are available. There’s a separate entrance, and the entrance room is the nicest one.
