Prixma Hotel

We were left waiting with our bags in the hallway, without a key or access to the room. Before that, the front desk made us wait past the 3 pm check-in time, then showed us a dirty room. We were told that it wasn't the room we'd booked and we'd have to move the next day. It wasn't our fault the booked room wasn't ready, and that was unacceptable. We also found that the sink wouldn't drain, the shower was broken, the room smelled strange, and it was clearly in poor condition and not well maintained. The reservation itself had been a problem, and I regret giving the place a chance. The staff were nice, but seemed unsure what they were doing, shouting to each other to find out if rooms were clean. The owner/manager was extremely rude and unprofessional, making us uncomfortable throughout our stay. He isn't Colombian, seemed to know nothing about the island, and wasn't as warm as Colombian people are. For the price, the service was far below what we expected. The restaurant is tiny for the hotel and didn't look clean, so it didn't seem sanitary to eat there. The hotel is a block from the beach, but they don't even clean their own sidewalk.
