The phone staff were very friendly, spoke great English, and the place is only five minutes from the Airport. But our room was nowhere near fit to stay in, probably the worst place we’ve ever been. There were different hairs in the supposedly fresh bed, and mold was growing on the bathroom storage as well as the ceiling, where it was coming down. It looked like a pipe was leaking and hadn’t been fixed. With no window, breathing the room’s air felt disgusting. The shower head had come off and was lying around, and we had quite a big colony crawling around. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Our booking was canceled the day before we were due to travel, just like the previous person's. Despegar said they simply cancel it, and that was that. They offered no help at all, even though we were traveling with two children. Maybe it was because of the season and they could rent it out for more money, but it felt like they couldn’t care less. Be careful booking with Despegar 😠

I found out my reservation had been canceled only the day before the trip, and nobody had even notified me. Whenever I tried to get help, there was none, and the replies were rude and showed no empathy. This is a house the owners probably rent when it suits them, but a paid service comes with responsibility. You may arrive and get no answer to your calls, wasting both your time and money. I wouldn’t trust them with a booking.
