Jakeline, the manager, really tries to make guests comfortable and usually works to fix the few problems that come up. The rooms are comfortable, the beach is right across the street, and the pool stays open all day. We mentioned that we'd like something besides eggs for breakfast, and she kindly offered us another delicious dish. This is a very welcoming, peaceful inn, and I loved it. Highly recommend it if you want somewhere quiet rather than one of the many hotels downtown.

The facilities are good, and the pool is excellent. The manager and kitchen staff were also excellent, always available. But the hotel isn't near the center, there are no restaurants nearby, and facing the sea doesn't mean there's a beach out front. The only beaches are downtown or in San Luis. You'll need a vehicle to get around. Options include a shared taxi (bucetas) for 2,400 COP, a small motorcycle taxi (mulitas) at 180,000 COP per day, or a motorcycle taxi (moto) for 70,000 COP. The shower water is cold, though that's the same at other hotels too. Breakfast isn't buffet style, just juice, coffee, and toast with jam or butter. The Wi-Fi is really terrible.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the place itself is lovely, new, and peaceful. There's no beach here, so you can't swim, except by going on a chartered scuba dive. Breakfast was just okay. They seem new to this, so I think they need time. Internet is available, but the signal depends on the day and was missing most of the time. Even so, it's very nice and I recommend it.

The hotel was dirty. Sheets were changed every three days, the towels were yellowed, and breakfast was meager, just corn with eggs and fruit juice. The owner, Jacqueline, was all sweetness and light with guests so they wouldn't leave disappointed. I booked through Booking.com, but she persuaded me to book directly instead to save its commission, promising a lower rate. Once I arrived, there was no discount, and she charged me the higher price for all five nights. I felt scammed. She was incredibly stingy, and it seemed the hotel couldn't even afford the utilities.
