The room was adequate and fairly cheap for what you get, but the pricing felt dishonest. I booked the first night through Booking.com for about 40k pesos, then extended in person for two more nights. At checkout, they tried to charge me 70k pesos per night for those nights, almost double. Their explanation was that the Booking.com price is different from the in-person price. A small accounting mistake would be one thing, but this felt shady at best and was pretty unacceptable. Be cautious.

The hotel and staff were lovely, but we couldn't sleep well. We came back hoping to relax after a day of extreme sports, but three big events took over the dining room and pool during our stay, two on the same night. They hadn't told us about them in advance. Even though a sign said the pool was open until 9:00 PM, it was rented out for parties that went on into the early hours. We couldn't rest at night or use the pool or ping pong. I contacted reception during the parties. They were polite, but not helpful. At checkout, another person, who I think was the owner, said that if we'd raised it earlier, they could have moved us to their other hotel, which she said was quieter. The property has a large pool, comfortable rooms, beautiful scenery, a tasty breakfast and free parking, and it's fairly close to downtown San Gil.

The rooms are small, and the bathrooms especially weren't clean. There were no hand towels or bath towels, no air conditioning, and no drinking water available around the clock. The pool also wasn't cleaned as required by health regulations. Food was limited to one menu with small portions, and the price was very high for what was offered.
