Tres Lagos Finca Hotel

The pools were great, the facilities were nice, and we did enjoy ourselves, but we wouldn't come back. Check-in service was poor: we arrived at 2 pm and the receptionist was very stern and negative, with no empathy. He took our money and said we had to wait there until 3 pm for the room, even though the listing said we could use the facilities much earlier. We had a huge suitcase, and I expected him to offer to store it while we used the pool or other facilities. Instead, he left us stuck there. Our room was delivered half an hour late, then the next day they hurried us to leave. The food was decent, but the portions were tiny. I've stayed at several hotels that don't skimp on meals. We're not big eaters, but what we got for the cost of three meals was very little.

The atmosphere was peaceful and very family friendly. Music was allowed only at certain times and at a moderate volume, and people followed the rules, so it was easy to rest. The staff were warm, attentive, and helpful from arrival through departure, always ready with a smile. We stayed with our family, three adults and three children, and had a really pleasant visit. The kids spent so much time swimming they got sunburned, but they were happy. The rooms were spotless, organized, and had air conditioning, which was much appreciated in the heat. Pools for both children and adults were well maintained, with plenty of room to relax nearby. There are hammocks in natural surroundings where you can listen to the birds, as well as a lake for recreational fishing where red tilapia can be seen.

The views are beautiful, and the place is lovely. Rooms and shared spaces were very clean, and the staff were so welcoming. I'll definitely be back!

A calm, natural setting with everything kept clean and organized made this a lovely spot for a family break. There are green spaces and a lake for fishing, plus plenty of places to relax. The pools were in excellent shape, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I'd gladly return, and I'd encourage others to visit too. It's well worth it!
