We cancelled before our stay even started because the pool looked filthy, with mold around the edge and green water so murky you couldn’t see the bottom. When I asked when it would be cleaned, the front desk said it was clean and that the sun made it look that way. It seemed they were prepared to let guests swim in it. There was a no refund policy, so they kept all the money for 6 nights without providing any service. I believe a professional establishment with integrity would refund guests when it can’t provide the clean, hygienic facilities it promised. After refusing the refund, the establishment ignored Booking.com when they tried to contact them for us. I strongly recommend against staying here. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be a pattern. I wish I’d checked them first.

We cancelled for our security, but the hotel still charged us, which violated Booking’s policies. I booked through Booking.com and found the place dirty, outdated, poorly located, and unsafe, without basic safety standards. Don’t be fooled by the nice view.

The view was incredible, and reception were kind and helpful. The room was very nice, but the TV didn’t work and there was no hot water in the bathroom. Breakfast was limited and a bit repetitive, and the price was far too high considering everything. We visited at the end of 2018, when parts of the hotel were still under construction, with dirt and rubble bags around. The location wasn’t good: the way there was very steep and dark at night, and the hotel itself is on a steep area with no elevator, so it’s not suitable for elderly people. The pool was nice, but some of the photos here don’t belong to the hotel.

The rooftop pool has stunning views, and the hammock and kitchen area is a relaxing spot. Rooms were clean, beds decent, and the air conditioning worked great. A couple of things to know: there was no wifi, even though it was listed as included, and it hadn’t worked at all. On our last day, someone there said they were working on it, so I’d call to check. Snacks aren’t allowed in rooms because of an ant problem.
