Casa Tayrona los Naranjos

The setting made it easy to unwind, with beautiful beaches nearby and only a short drive to the national park entrance. We stayed three nights and wished we’d booked more. The rooms, staff, food, and drinks all exceeded our expectations, and the dining prices were very reasonable for such good quality.

Juan Pablo, the receptionist, was an absolute legend. He went above and beyond to get me, my friends, and our luggage where we needed to be on time. The hotel is gorgeous and the service top-notch. They even made a birthday cake for my friend. Incredible experience, highly recommend!

The food was unmatched, fresh and healthy, with lots of local ingredients. If they sold a recipe book, I’d buy one. The kitchen staff even made us breakfast to go at no charge when we had to leave early for diving before breakfast opened. My husband and I spent three nights at Casa Tayrona and wished we could stay longer. It was our favorite place in Colombia, with breathtaking views, beautiful wildlife, and a lovely pool. Falling asleep to the ocean was magical. The staff were so kind and helpful, always going out of their way to make our stay special. Tayrona National Park, Taganga, and Santa Marta are all nearby, though I barely wanted to leave the grounds.

We came for dinner one evening and didn’t stay at the hotel. The restaurant’s menu is mostly fish, with plenty of choices. We both had a starter and a main, and everything was beautifully presented, high quality, and really tasty. There’s a good range of drinks too, including wine and bubbly. The sea view completes the experience. The staff are incredibly nice ladies, and we’d return just for them. Definitely recommended!
