Hostal Green Light

DO NOT BOOK, DO NOT BOOK. We booked a 3 bed room, but they hadn’t mentioned that it was basically a birds nest. The roof was made of leaves, there were spider webs inside, and there was no killa on the beds. The room had just one window, and it couldn’t be closed. We asked to move and the other room had cockroaches. The crew does and says whatever they want. When we asked for breakfast, the cook in the kitchen started screaming that the other cook had been fired, so it wasn’t her job to cook for us. One crew member said breakfast was until 10am, but when we showed up half an hour before, they told us it was closed. We asked to speak to the manager, and the crew said they weren’t authorized to let us talk to him or her. The pools also always seem to be dirty. Do yourself a favor and think twice before coming here!

It’s very loud, and you can hear everything. There’s no noise curfew, so people talking can keep you up all night. They also can’t seem to get their surveillance system working, and there’s a constant beep.

Really cheap, with great value for money. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, and it’s one of the best hostels I’ve seen on my travels.

Breakfast was excellent, and everything went smoothly. A great little place.
