I spent nearly a month at Las Terrazas and was able to park my motorcycle inside, which was a real bonus. It’s up in the hills among the locals, so the views are great. From the terrace, you can have breakfast or lunch overlooking the bay and boats. A few blocks from the tourist center, it’s quiet and relaxing at night. Franklin was warm and extremely helpful from the start.

We stayed in a double room with an en-suite. It was comfortable and spacious thanks to the high ceilings, and the fan and air con both worked well. We had our own key and could come and go whenever we liked. The kitchen was equipped with a fridge and freezer, and the rooftop was a great place for drinks after the beach, with lovely views across town and the bay. It’s also a short walk into town. Breakfast cost 8.000 COP, and we had it every morning. It was delicious and filling, with fresh fruit, freshly made juice, a generous portion of scrambled eggs with tasty vegetables, and bread. We really enjoyed the relaxed, welcoming hosting and our few days here. We arrived a little before check-in and were able to get in straight away. For anyone with limited Spanish, host Johanna speaks perfect English and is genuinely warm. She was incredibly helpful with directions for our sightseeing plans. A real gem in hospitality, and unbeatable value. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our travels and were really sad to leave. Thank you Las Terrazas.

Joanna, the hostess, took such good care of us and helped with whatever we needed. We’ll be back! I’d recommend this place 100%. I had some doubts about the location at first, but it turned out to feel very safe. We never had any trouble walking around at night. There’s strong Wi-Fi, a beautiful pool that was my favorite place to relax, hammocks and a TV with Netflix on the terrace, fantastic views, and plenty more.

Inti, the owner, is a great guy and very helpful. He speaks fluent English and spanish. The roof terrace has a fantastic view and is a lovely spot to relax with a few beers. Rooms are large and have airconditioning, a godsend in Taganga, and there’s a kitchen and laundry too. It’s a great, cheap hostel. The only downside is the neighborhood isn’t the greatest, though the beach is only about a 5-minute walk away.

The rooftop views were beautiful, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I was there for a fantastic month. Johanna was a great host, and Franklin, who worked at the hostel, was friendly and helpful too. This was my favorite place I’ve stayed through Airbnb. Highly recommend. Muchas gracias :)
