Hotel Andina Blue Santa Marta

We slept well because it was quiet, and our room was comfortable and clean. It had air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, towels, and soap. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and they honored our reservation without any trouble. The hotel is good for the price and well placed near the beach, shops, and tourist areas of Santa Marta. I'd suggest they set check-in and checkout times like other hotels, or make them match what's shown on Booking.com.

Calling this a four-star hotel doesn't make sense when it lacks basic things like card payment. In 2025, they still don't accept cards, unbelievable. When we arrived, staff couldn't even find our reservation, and the room was dirty with no toilet paper. The staff need to be reassigned. This felt like a hostel, not a hotel, and the whole experience was disgraceful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We were heading to Tayrona National Park, and the staff kindly let us leave our luggage after checkout. They were very friendly. The location is central, near the bay and Parque de los Novios (Lovers' Park), and the rooms are comfortable, with a good bathroom and air conditioning. Breakfast isn't included, but there are plenty of nearby shops with a range of prices. I'd recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean and as described, and the location was perfect, right in the center just behind the lovers' square. The receptionist was very kind and helped us a lot. We even called her beforehand, and she gave us all the information we needed. Thanks to her and to the hotel.
