The location is perfect, just a couple of metres from lovely restaurants and 10 metres from the beach. Prices depend on the room, with dorms for backpackers and double rooms for couples. There’s a small restaurant inside the hostel, and breakfast is free, which really helps when you’re backpacking and trying to save. Pablo at reception was probably the best receptionist I’ve met while travelling. He’s super relaxed and knows just what to suggest when you’re unsure what to do. Hope this helps, enjoy your trip!

The staff were so friendly, especially the cooks and kitchen team. We told them we were vegan, and they asked what we wanted, then made a special meal for us that night. They really did their best with the food. Amazingly sweet!

I stayed just one night while passing through, and it was fine. The breakfast was good, though it looked a little rusty.

The rooms were clean, but some building work still needs to be finished. There’s only cold water in the bathrooms, which isn’t a problem when it’s hot outside. Keep in mind that Calle 10 is known as Zona De Tolerancia for prostitutes and drugs, and it isn’t safe to walk around there at night.

The staff were great, the breakfast was good, and the travel agency was excellent. Ask for Sergio, he’s the best and will take good care of you.
