Hotel Sierra Nevada

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, with WiFi and TV in the rooms. There's also good space around the hotel for social media photos. The service staff were really nice and helpful, and I loved spending my vacation here. Definitely one of the best places to stay in the historic center.

My room was very clean, the WiFi worked, and the air conditioning was good. It was quiet enough that I slept without earplugs. I wasn't feeling well and asked to check in early so I could rest; they let me in without any trouble. The card reader wasn't working, so they let me pay the next morning. Yuri, my receptionist, was friendly and understanding, and also pointed out places in town and where to catch a bus out of town. Definitely worth the price.

The king room we had, number 208, was brand new and clean, and breakfast was good. It's close to the center, with plenty to do nearby. The double-pane windows did a great job reducing outside noise. I'm a light sleeper and could sleep comfortably with only the AC fan noise. There wasn't soap in the bathroom, and the WiFi signal didn't reach our room. Construction was going on at the hotel, but they waited until around 9 am to start so guests wouldn't be disturbed. It looked like the work might be done in about a month, though that's just my guess. Nothing major that couldn't be improved easily. A great place to stay.

The staff were outstanding, friendly and helpful. I got very ill during my stay, unrelated to the hotel, and they helped me and showed real concern for how I was doing. Muchas gracias! It's a simple, clean hotel in a good location. The bed is comfortable, the A/C works well, and breakfast is inexpensive. Just know the shower is more or less cold.
