I arrived late and exhausted, and was glad to get a decent pizza with a beer the owner had brewed himself. The coffee was great too. They handled laundry in house, and by the next morning it was clean, dry, and folded. The hostel interior was beautiful and very clean, and my room was new, comfortable, and had AC. There are dorms as well, plus a place to work or hang out in hammocks. Hostel Tunido is two blocks from the main hostel and hotel area, which meant better service and very fair prices. I'll definitely stay again.

Right in the center but still quiet, which makes it a great location. Even the 10p dorms feel private enough, and the staff are super friendly. It's a great place to rest while exploring Santa Marta and the surrounding area.

I felt welcome from the moment I arrived through to when I left. The host and staff are warm and knowledgeable. A young Belgian man moved here years ago and built the place up with care. Santa Marta has plenty of comfortable places to stay, but the hospitality, quiet seating areas, and hammocks quickly won me over.

We spent a week here on our trip and really loved it. The hostel is in a recently renovated colonial style house, with a very chill atmosphere. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and the quality-price balance is good. I definitely recommend it!

The shared dorms were decent, clean, and nothing too fancy. The hostel is nicely decorated and has a homely, really relaxed vibe. The owner Dimitri and the staff were lovely, and the cook is amazing. Seriously, every dish she made was just too good.
