Vito Hotel Boutique Taganga

Laura and her mother are so kind and helpful. If you're traveling alone, it's a rare treat to feel this welcome. You don't feel like just another customer here, you soon feel like a guest and part of the family and friends. A lovely hotel.

We spent eight nights at Vito's while visiting Taganga for diving. Laura and Servilia gave us a warm welcome and treated us personally. The rooms were clean and roomy, and the hotel sits a little uphill, away from the busy road and noisy beach. We slept well without the nighttime noise. Breakfast was delicious, with Laura focusing on local, sustainable ingredients. We learned what 'cayeye' is. I hope her ecological outlook eventually catches on in Taganga, where there's still much to do. The village looked rather desolate, with trash scattered around. Irene, the excellent Italian chef, made superb dinners. Luna and Cooky, the two dogs, kept the place lively. We went up to the roof terrace each day to watch the beautiful sunset over the bay and have a beer. Laura soon learned our routine and would bring our beers without being asked. We'll cherish those memories. For a stay in Taganga, this is without doubt the best place. Thank you for the charming stay, Victoria & Marc.

The family who runs the place is so lovely and welcoming, and the host was incredibly helpful arranging our boat to Tayrona. The location suited me too, away from the busy part of town and quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Our room was spacious, with a view of the sea. I appreciated all the little details, and breakfast was great, especially the coffee and the best pancake I've had in a long time on my travels through Latin America. Loved this place!

We stayed for nine nights and were so sad to leave, it felt like saying goodbye to family. Laura and her mother made us feel at home right away, and that's what made the stay so special. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful, with an amazing view. Our room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was incredible, different every day and with a personal touch. It's about a five-minute walk to the beach, and restaurants and shops are even closer. We'll be back soon!
