We really enjoyed the peace and quiet at the Finca and the thermal baths. Our stay was wonderful, and the host was lovely.

At 9:15 pm on the day I was due to arrive, my confirmed reservation was cancelled without warning. I had to look for another hotel at the last minute, and it cost me more. The manager's conduct was extremely unprofessional. Nothing like this has happened to me before.

This is a peaceful spot for getting away from city life and thinking about caring for the planet. The hotel is lovely, well kept, very clean, and clearly committed to protecting the environment. Service was excellent, and it really is pet-friendly. We brought our dogs, and Cristina suggested good stops along the Bogotá-Santa Rosa route. We enjoyed a tasty traditional breakfast, a guided walk around the property, and helpful ideas for places to visit. The five gentle, affectionate dogs, Coco, Bianca, Atenea, Luna, and Angus, make canine guests feel part of their pack, as do the cats.

This was the worst hotel I've stayed in, and I wouldn't recommend it at all. The property is run down and not in good shape for a comfortable visit. Isabel Cristina seems unable to handle big groups or children, and her focus on cleanliness doesn't help. On the first day she scolded us over recycling. She gave us one Styrofoam cup to use for the whole stay, which felt unhygienic and is bad for the environment. Because we were a large group, she expected everyone to stay quiet whenever children or young people were around. She was rude and irritating, even trying to hush a three-year-old girl for laughing too loudly. They also wouldn't let us put food in the fridge to save energy or heat the children's meals in the microwave, using the eco-hotel policy as the reason.
