The staff were the one bright spot. They helped us find a reservation during the Reyes holiday weekend, when the town was full. But the room was awful: tiny and a bit creepy, with a very uncomfortable bed and pillows that felt like paper. There was no breakfast, and we heard loads of noise from other rooms and the street, even though our room was well inside the building. We only needed a place to sleep, but it was a bad night. The location is reasonably close to the center, so food is easy to find. A few blocks away, though, there's an unpleasant area with bars, prostitution, and people living on the street. I don't understand the good ratings, unless the other hotels in Santa Rosa are much worse.

The rooms were really clean, and the location is great, right by a bakery and close to the park. The woman there was very friendly.

As the reservation date got closer, they claimed they didn't manage websites like Hotels.com and Expedia, even though the hotel is listed there for bookings. They were rude, gave terrible service, and refused to take responsibility, telling me to find a room somewhere else. The receptionists were arrogant and even questioned whether the hotel was really listed, as if I had some bad intention. The service was the worst.

The hot springs are close enough that you may end up with little time at the hotel beyond sleeping, but we had a great getaway here. Rooms are roomy and clean, and there's hot water, TV, and internet. The Turkish bath stays open late, too. With its location and affordable rates, it's hard to beat in the area. Santa Rosa was a great visit, and I'd recommend staying here.
