The rooms are a little dated, but the location is excellent. It’s an okay hotel.

The place is generally comfortable and pleasant, but my last day was disappointing. I paid someone for an extra night, then that person didn’t show up, and the receptionist later questioned whether I’d paid. That day, the cleaner also told me to leave the room so she could clean it, saying it had been booked through Booking.com. Make sure you ask for a receipt.

For $35,000 a night, it’s an inexpensive place that works if all you need is somewhere to sleep. It’s six blocks from the bus terminal, one block from the stream through the town center, and two blocks from one of the few food places open past 7 p.m. The foam beds are firm but comfortable, and there’s cable TV, Wi-Fi, and hot water. The administrator is friendly and chatty; the Wi-Fi password is on the keys and remote. The building could use some maintenance on the walls and windows, and there were squashed mosquitoes on the walls in my room. I mentioned the mosquitoes and they fumigated that same day. They don’t provide shampoo.
