I found a bed bug crawling on the drapes less than half an hour after arriving, so I left immediately. Before that, the room already felt below par: the bathroom door was hard to shut, the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect, and the TV's built-in streaming options were very outdated. Stay away if you don't want to risk taking a bed bug with you.

If you're American and want a lively spot, this place has swimming, dancing, billiards, and really good service. It's downtown, with a rooftop, safe rooms, and clean, super comfortable beds.

The staff were amazing. The Hoover sucks.

The place shuts at night, so you're relying on the security guard staying awake, and reception was rude. My online booking wasn't available, so they put me in another room where the door had no lock and its window was broken. They moved me when I asked, but the next room had bloodstained sheets stuffed in a closet, no pillows or covers, and a filthy bathroom. A horrible stay.

The kitchen and dining staff were so kind to us. My sister went to Colombia for surgery, and things went badly, so I flew in and we stayed here while she received extended care. They did everything they could to accommodate her meals without charging extra. They were a godsend, especially when we were dealing with all that and had no friends or family there to help.
