The staff were kind and helpful, and the bed in our room, #217, was good. The room itself was poorly equipped, though, with a very thin curtain. The shower stayed cold despite having an electric heater, whose connection looked scary. The towels were very small, and there was no floor towel.

My room was small, but it had everything I needed, and I could store my bicycle there securely. There was no ventilation, so the air stayed damp after I showered and my wet clothes didn't dry properly.

It's an old hotel in central Tunja, and the street leading to it feels dangerous at night. The service was good, and breakfast was included and good too. But the room felt small and old, and the shower water only got a little warm, never hot. There's a mall on the first floor, and with the room's mediocre sound insulation, you can hear it, so it's not a good fit if you want to sleep past 7:30. With all that in mind, the price is too high.

The hotel is right in the town center, with several bars and restaurants nearby. It's on the second floor and shares the building with a mall that closes at 8:00 pm. The tiny rooms face the mall's inner patio, so you can hear the noise from there. Breakfast was okay. It's a cheap local hotel, and I'd recommend it for a full Colombian experience.

For an affordable trip, this is the best hotel. It's very close to plaza de Bolibar, so you can leave your shopping and other things there and head back out to the tourist spots. The price is remarkable. So don't complain that it's small or noisy, haha 😆
