Hotel Casa Cantabria Campestre

We planned to stay for a day and ended up staying three. The staff, especially Lucia, were amazing with all the little details. The area is only 5 min from the main city, but still far enough to feel like the countryside.

The listing said we’d booked a two-bedroom cabin, one bedroom with a king bed and the other with two bunk beds, plus pools with a fountain and Jacuzzis. Instead, it was a hotel-style single room with a king bed and one bunk bed right beside it. The pools were dirty and low on water, the fountain didn’t work, and neither did the Jacuzzis, so the water stayed freezing day and night. They should have told us all this when we booked. Service gets two stars because there weren’t enough employees for the property. Breakfast was included at the restaurant, but it wasn’t good. One server had to take orders and clean, and the food was expensive for what they charged. I’m not impressed. It’s sad because the place has potential, but false advertising is asking for lawsuits.

The views were gorgeous, and breakfast was simple but delicious. Ingred and Ricardo were very hospitable, and the rooms were clean and nice. We only stayed one night, sadly, but we’ll come back if we’re in town again.

The nearby places to visit were perfectly located, and the facilities were super clean. The staff were super nice, and we had a great time here.
