I had to do some begging, but they let me bring my bicycle into my room. The room itself was basic, though good value, and the free breakfast was cute, meaning a small portion. The place is right in the centre of town.

Being near Plaza Mayor made it easy to explore and see local attractions. I went in with low expectations for the price, even with such a prime location, but the stay turned out much better than I expected. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly place in a great spot.

The hotel is only two streets from the main square, which is its biggest plus. The parking, though, is also two streets away from the hotel. In the room, the gap between the toilet and wall was the tiniest I’ve ever seen, anyone over 1.7m won’t fit. The room and bed were acceptable. Service was neither bad nor good, just service.

The staff were really nice, and the hotel has a pleasant, warm atmosphere. The room was nice too, though the bathroom was uncomfortable because of its size.

The beds were comfortable, the views were lovely at sunset, and we could bring our dog without a problem or extra charge. The hotel itself is beautiful, just outside Villa de Leyva. But the pool was very cold, which was the main reason we booked. The weather isn’t warm enough for an unheated pool, so I probably wouldn’t stay again. I’d rather pay less somewhere without a pool. It’s a shame they don’t heat it.
