There’s open-air parking, and the place is clean and comfortable, just right for one night. For exploring Paipa and the surrounding area, though, I’d look for somewhere closer to town, so you don’t have to keep driving back and forth between the town and the inn.

The location right on the Vargas swamp is great. Nearby, there are vendors selling handicrafts and curd cracklings. The place is comfortable, with hot water and a good breakfast.

The chicken was raw, and the tray of food took 40 minutes to arrive. They told us the soup would be ready in a moment, but an hour later it still hadn’t come. Terrible restaurant service.

The manager was incredibly rude and the service was terrible. We booked through a well-known website, but the manager refused to use its platform and charged us again at a higher rate. They never tried to find a solution. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all, there are much better options for a night away.
