Villa De Los Angeles

The rooms are roomy, and the property itself is tidy and pleasant. It’s only a short trip to the town center, whether you walk or take a taxi. The approach is less convenient: the road is dark and empty at night, and the last part is muddy, unpaved, and has no walkway, so arriving by car or taxi makes more sense. There’s no food service or restaurant, and nearby places don’t deliver. The bed looks inviting, but the sheets feel plasticky once you’re in them. Breakfast was fine, just basic and with little variety.

My mother and sister had booked for the weekend of August 12th. Then one of my brothers became seriously ill and was told he had only a few days left. Even after they provided medical documents, the hotel owner wouldn’t agree to cancel all or even part of the reservation. I found that heartbreaking and inhumane. I can’t recommend this hotel.

It’s a peaceful, lovely spot with flowers and plants that are clearly well cared for. The service was excellent, and the town square is close by. Highly recommended.

There’s plenty of room for couples or families, and the hosts are so friendly. The place feels welcoming, and its biosecurity protocols are excellent.
