The pool is in very good shape, though it needs parasols since the sun hits you directly. The property is quiet, but it’s about 400 square meters of unpaved ground, and the photos made it look much nicer than it was, especially the room. There were no nightstands, the sink faucet was loose, and there was an already-open bottle of water in the minibar. Try to get service from Paola or either of the two restaurant staff, who were friendly and helpful. The other staff didn’t know how to serve people and could be rude.

This place has a lot of potential, but the manager needs to be replaced, and the access road needs some maintenance. The person in charge is terrible at following through: he says one thing, then suddenly EVERYTHING changes to suit his whims. I tried booking again because I liked the facilities, even though on my first visit he had changed our agreed stay terms without warning or agreement. This time he confirmed the reservation and price several times, saying it was because I was a frequent guest and he wanted us to enjoy the place again. After I made the first deposit, he raised the price but still confirmed the booking. The next day he told me there was no room left and said he would refund me. They’re abusive. If you look at this place, keep other options handy in case the terms change after you’ve paid.

The service was excellent, but the place really needs maintenance. The pool was very dirty the day after I arrived, and there should be umbrellas around it because the sun is so strong. There’s also an ugly, dirty lagoon, and the food wasn’t the best.

It’s a shame, because the place is beautiful, but the service is TERRIBLE. Almost everything needs attention, from the road in to the fans in the rooms, and the service is poor. It could be a wonderful experience with better upkeep and good management.
