The supposed double room we paid for had two single beds pushed badly together, and they split apart when we went to bed. It made for an uncomfortable, unacceptable night. We also found dirty sheets on arrival. They changed them when we asked, but didn’t make the bed properly, and the bedspread was left rolled up. When we opened it, it was dirty too, with gum stuck to it. The place looked dirty and neglected from the start, the service was poor, and the prices were extremely high for what they offered. When we complained about the dirt and the bed, they said they couldn’t do anything else. I don’t usually make reports like this, but I want to warn people so they don’t have the same experience. The lack of cleanliness is unpleasant and a health risk. The place clearly falls short of basic hygiene and care, and needs an urgent inspection by the relevant health authorities.

The restaurant was the best part, though the woman serving us expected us to use the same utensil for eating the egg and stirring sugar into the coffee. That’s exactly what she told me. They don’t sell any bottled water, and the young man at reception said the bottle I was drinking hadn’t been changed in days. The hotel has or had a good concept, but it’s poorly managed. Room cleaning was mediocre, the walls were dirty, and there was hair on the sheets. Common areas were dirty and in poor condition, and the bathrooms had no toilet paper or soap. Service was just okay. It’s a shame, because I’d definitely come back if they fixed things and improved the service.

I booked last Thursday afternoon, but when I arrived Friday morning they told me they weren’t going to open. I had all my suitcases with me and had to find another hotel.
