We couldn't stay because our bus schedule didn't work out, but the staff were very attentive over WhatsApp and helped arrange a transfer from the bus station. It was a great experience dealing with them, and we hope to stay here another time.

The private rooms are on the small side, and the price is higher, but you get a pool and AC. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom, and the owner was relaxed and flexible. Ask at reception for Juan Tatacoa if you want to take a desert tour. I can recommend it.

After a full day walking in the desert, Hotel Pradiso was just what we wanted for a comfortable rest. The whole place was spotless, and there was a big kitchen where we could make dinner after the heat. The pool was lovely too. It’s a great fit for travellers heading to the desert who also want comfort and a taste of Villa Vieja's cute, quiet village. We’d definitely recommend it.

The staff were friendly, but the stay cost far too much for what we got. The rooms were cramped, uncomfortable, and very hot; an air-conditioned room was available, but at an even higher price. There was no breakfast, and the pool sat beside the parking area, like at a cheap motel. Morning noise was a problem too. At 5 am we woke to staff yelling at each other, and another staff member watching YouTube on a phone on the couch right outside our room. We also wanted to visit the Tatacoa Desert and then use the pool until 4 pm while waiting for our bus back to neiva. They said that was possible, but we'd have to pay to leave our luggage and use the pool. And for that price, you'd expect a hot shower. There wasn't one.

The location made it easy to visit the Tatacoa Desert, and the staff were very friendly. My family and I had a lovely stay here.
