Some rooms are much nicer than others, and half the hotel was being renovated during our stay. We visited on a weekday and barely saw any staff. The man who looked after us was off that day, which was a shame because he had done a great job. I'd return, hopefully once the work is finished.

We paid 210 US dollars for one night, which is a lot in Colombia. The bungalow was nice, and we didn't mind the bugs and mosquitoes. But heavy rain came right into the room while we slept, soaking the bed, blanket, sheets, bathroom, toilet, and towels. We were freezing. When we reported it, they only said they'd fix the problem and clean the room. We're diplomats in Colombia and know how things work here. Colombians never take responsibility for mistakes, let alone compensate customers. Customer service in this country is zero. They couldn't even waive lunch or offer a piece of chocolate and an apology. Nothing. It's a joke.

The staff were attentive, and the view was lovely. A very nice hotel in a spot with pleasant weather, relatively close to Bogotá.

Fantastic food and a great place to unwind. The people were very kind, too.
