There’s a really peaceful energy at Mandala hotel. I’ve stayed at other places in the area, even the “luxury” one Casa Ambrosia, and the staff here made me feel especially welcome. They were ready to help and did their best throughout our stay. Angela made things easy from the moment we got in touch, and kept checking that we were having a good experience. Amparito’s Colombian home cooking was amazing. I recommend the sancocho or the sudado, which isn’t on the menu but they’ll make it. Mrs. Maria helped with pretty much everything, and Lili, the waitress, was very nice. Mr. Rogelio showed us the animals and explained a lot about them. I loved how much he knew about country life. We had such a good time that we stayed much longer than planned, even though the lack of AC nearly stopped us from staying longer in the first place. You need to keep the windows open, so hopefully they fix the window screen before next time. The employees were awesome, and I still give it five stars. Congrats to the owners on having such a great staff! 👏🏻

Michel, Natalia, and the rest of the staff took excellent care of us. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the hotel's facilities were kept in good condition and clean as well. They also have a farm, and the pets there are very well cared for. A great place to stay in Villeta. 💜
