Hilton Garden Inn San Jose Airport City Mall

The biggest hassle was check-in and checkout. The lines were really long and moved extremely slowly, with pretty much a permanent queue at reception. They could add another receptionist or improve the system. The room was comfortable, and the water pressure wasn’t great, as others have mentioned, but it was enough to wash without a problem. If your room faces the airport, the light is quite bright, so close the curtains fully. The airport transfer was very efficient, and the driver was friendly. It does the job well if you’re transferring or waiting for a flight. For any other reason, I’d look for a different location.

The staff were superb, and we loved our room. We spent a few days here as our base in San Jose, and also enjoyed the bar, pool, and exercise room. We’ll definitely be back!

City Mall is right next door and easy to walk to, and the free airport shuttle is a big plus for a hotel just five minutes away. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety, and the on-site restaurant served tasty food with lovely presentation. The hotel is clean and modern, with comfortable beds and rooms that were surprisingly quiet, no outside noise at all.

The desk staff went out of their way to arrange transportation to my next stop, almost three hours away, and were VERY helpful. The room was large and clean, with great Wi-Fi. It’s very conveniently located near the airport, and I only had a short wait for the shuttle pickup. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was excellent.
