Mango Valley

Annie, the new owner, is wonderful, and her family is just as lovely. The cabinas look out over Grecia, with fresh, cool air and beautiful views. The hillside is dotted with flowers and fruit, and there are so many hummingbirds and other colorful creatures around. Highly recommend!

The garden is lovely, and little birds are all around this peaceful, relaxing spot. The rooms are practical. It’s family-run, and I’d describe it as more of a guest house than a hotel, based on what I expect from a hotel.

The garden feels magical, right there in the middle of the jungle. We loved having a balcony with our room. Annie and Jeff made us feel so welcome and were incredibly kind. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We especially loved the valley and volcano views from our terrace. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our five nights here. Javier and his wife made delicious local breakfasts each morning, and Javier was always ready to answer questions or help out. He arranged our airport transportation and a few day trips, then connected us with Adrian as our guide. Adrian knew great places to visit and eat, and shared lots of useful information about Costa Rica, including tips for future travels around the country.
