The free continental breakfast was really good, especially the extremely sweet fruit. The family who own the place were friendly, the room matched the pictures online, and there was secure parking for our car. We also liked having a common area to sit outside the room. The showers weren't cold, but the water wasn't as hot as I'd have liked, so I'm giving it four stars. I'd stay again.

Roy was very friendly, and the place was mostly quiet, set back from the street. There was secure parking, a kitchen and a nice covered area to hang out. Our room was clean and the shower was warm, by Costa Rica standards. I'd stay here again.

That coffee is the freshest you can get, since he roasts it himself. The food is incredible too. During the 10 days I was in la fortuna, I ate here at least 7 times. I don't even know where to start, I loved this place.

We stopped in for coffee and a bit of food, and both were so good. The service was even better, though. Maylon looked after us and was really funny and sweet. There's also a cute little souvenir shop inside the restaurant.

You find a real treasure here, and Red Frog stays in your mind after you leave CR. Roy, the Owner, clearly cares about giving customers his best. You can see that in the food and property, and especially in the coffee.
