Finca Verde Lodge

We saw loads of animals, including monkeys, frogs, sloths and plenty of birds, even around 10am. The guide, Pablo, was interesting and knew a lot. He had a great eye and spotted things we couldn't. The tour lasted about an hour. He was on his phone a bit, though. Would recommend.

There's lots of wildlife and plenty of paths to wander on this beautiful property. I even had a sloth right outside my room! Everyone was super friendly and helpful with suggestions for things to do while I was there. Finca verde lodge was a wonderful place to stay. I'd definitely recommend it and hope to come back one day.

We stayed several nights and loved being immersed in the rainforest's sounds and sights. We saw howler and capuchin monkeys, three-toed sloths, red-eyed tree frogs, mot mots, toucans, aracari, euphonia, and many other birds. The trails are fantastic, and even sitting with a drink in the restaurant brings plenty of birds into view in the surrounding garden. Kendall, the staff, and guides are warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The rooms are rustic, but clean and comfortable. We'd go back in a moment. And don't miss the thin crust pizza.

The grounds are full of wildlife, from sloths and birds to tree frogs and more. Kendall and his staff are excellent. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable, though things are rustic. The shower is warm rather than hot, and you have to hold the faucet while turning the tap, which only gives cold water. The water is potable.
