Conchal Beach was our favorite of the nearby beaches we tried. At the far end, I found a trail on alltrails.com that climbs a hill to a great sunrise view. There are lots of tasty restaurants nearby, and this hotel had the best pinto gallo in town. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, and we loved our five-day stay. Alondra and Jesus at reception were such great people to talk with.

The location was great, with howler monkeys in the trees outside, good food at the restaurants and sodas next door, and very friendly staff at check-in. Our room didn't have AC, though, and in peak summer heat that was pretty miserable. We'll be back, but next time we'll book a room with AC.

We only ate here, and the food was amazing and well priced. A lovely gentleman served us. It was a great choice after a day at Playa Conchal!

The basics were covered: towels and soap were provided, the AC worked well, and staff checked every day if we wanted housekeeping. It's on the beach, has secure entry, and restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance. Still, our room was noisy, with motorcycles, barking dogs, and plenty of other sounds. The roosters started crowing at 4:45 a.m., and even earplugs and a sound machine didn't keep them from waking me. There wasn't a hand towel in the bathroom either. We'd stay again knowing we'd be up very early, but wouldn't bring our kids, who don't adjust as easily to interrupted sleep.
