After a long trip from Germany, we arrived at Villas Canaveral while the family who runs the business was celebrating a birthday together. When we went to prepare some food, they invited us to join them, and we spent part of the evening with the family. Their hospitality really surprised us in the best way. We won’t soon forget that evening as a welcome beginning to our stay. The accommodation also exceeded our expectations. It’s clean, well maintained and nicely furnished, and they take care of questions or needs right away. We can only recommend it. Pura Vida

The cabins sit among orange trees, and the staff are very nice. It’s a family business. The rooms felt a little cold, but blankets are provided. Breakfast is served in a bus that’s been converted into a restaurant, quite original!

The citrus trees around the property bring in lots of interesting birds. From our porch we spotted at least 35 species, and we also loved hanging out with their adorable, super friendly Doberman. The cabins are bright, comfortable and clean, and the owners couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. It’s handy for visiting Mirador de Ujarras and Ruinas de Ujarras, as well as several good restaurants. I’d highly recommend staying here.
