We had the little place all to ourselves along with our travel companions, and it was so peaceful, with plants and trees all around. We heard howler monkeys in the distance in the early hours. Each morning began with strong coffee and a generous, nutritious five-course breakfast that Julian made with herbs from his outdoor pots. Highly recommend 😀

The B&B is only about 50 meters from the beach, and Julien's garden is beautifully looked after, with iguanas, monkeys, and birds around. He was very welcoming and made homemade breakfast each morning. Julien also shared plenty of good suggestions for places to visit nearby and even handled reservations for us. A really friendly, cozy spot.

Casa Mambo became one of our most memorable experiences in Costa Rica, and we'd definitely recommend it. The room worked perfectly for our three-night stay, and the breakfasts were wonderful, freshly made with local ingredients. Julien was incredibly kind and hospitable, and showed real respect for the plants and wildlife. The garden felt like paradise, full of colorful animals and the sounds of nature. We enjoyed spending time there even more than going to the beach, which is just a few steps away.

Marion was a lovely host and made the best smoothies, which I really enjoyed. The place is small but cozy and has everything you need for a memorable stay in Cahuita. It's also conveniently close to the beach and Regge bar.

Casa Mambo was in a perfect location, and we had a great stay. Our host was warm and attentive, and clearly worked hard to keep guests happy. He loves cooking and took care to make sure we enjoyed the food. We highly recommend staying here.
