The bungalow was lovely, with two bedrooms and a bathroom, and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked really well, so sleeping was easy. We stayed for a week with two adults and three kids, using the place as a base to explore the area for seven days. The whole staff were great, especially Daniel, Ramona, and the teams in the restaurant and gardens. They were wonderful with the kids and let us know whenever animals came by, including sloths, lots of monkeys, frogs, and toucans. We had breakfast at the restaurant every day and dinner there five nights. Cahuita was an easy 10-minute drive along a dirt road right by the beach, so most days we didn't need to get on the highway.

Daniel and Carla made us feel welcome and well looked after throughout our stay. The grounds were lovely and well maintained, and we were inspired by the food from Carla and the team. A big thank you to our kind host Daniel.

We could walk along the coast to Cahuita in about 20-30 minutes. The lodge is excellent and set in a quiet area, and the Swiss host and staff were very friendly. Highly recommended!

The owners were delightful to talk with, and the resort itself was so beautiful. Everything felt perfect. Juan, one of the caretakers, pointed out sloths, about, poison frogs, and other things right on the property.

The gardener pointed out a sloth that was much closer and easier to see than any we'd seen on the many tours. The pool was great, the staff were hospitable, and the Swiss proprietor was friendly. Fantastic stay.
