Jon, the owner, is super friendly and made us feel right at home. The staff were lovely and helpful with everything, including renting an ATV and getting us to and from the airport. Our bright, clean room had an amazing view, and the restaurant food was delicious. The pool was great for a quiet break, and the beach is just across the road. Hotel Moana is close enough to walk into Santa Teresa, but far enough away to escape the bustle. I've stayed at a few places in town, and this is the best I've seen.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with big windows facing the forested gardens, and the shower has great hot water. The walk up to the restaurant is a bit of a climb, but the Pacific sunset views make it worthwhile. Loved this place!

John, the owner, is lovely and pays attention to the details. The place feels like a comfortable jungle paradise, with a luxurious touch, and it's very clean. The beds are a little hard, but I slept really well. Breakfast is included and amazing, and I thought the restaurant upstairs was the best food I had around Santa Teresa and mal país. You do have to climb stairs to get there, so it's not wheelchair friendly, but the food and small menu are worth it. Everything we ate was just right. Even if you're not staying there, the restaurant is worth a visit. I'd recommend the hotel for a romantic getaway. It feels more like a fancy four-star place than a three-star hotel.

We love staying here. From our balcony we could hear monkeys, and we even watched Iguanas while having breakfast. The rooms have lovely decor, a great atmosphere, and amazing views. John was a wonderful host and made us feel welcome at Moana. Breakfast was really good, too.

The pool is beautiful, and we loved having breakfast with that breathtaking ocean view. Everything here felt perfect. A special thank you to Jon, the owner, whose kindness made our stay even better. We recommend it 200%.
