Shark Town Mal Pais

Everything was new, very clean, and so comfortable that staying here was a pleasure. The friendly atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the owner was quick to respond, helpful, and easy to deal with. Definitely recommend!

Shark Town was a great place to stay, and I definitely plan to return. My room was more like a small apartment, with everything I needed, and the AC worked properly, which isn't always the case when hotels advertise it. The room and hotel were well cared for, and the pool was always clean. I loved seeing the shark theme all around the grounds. The hotel is within walking distance of the nearest beach and town. The staff were fantastic. Management was friendly and sent me lots of useful information about the hotel and nearby stores and restaurants as soon as I arrived. The groundskeeper was friendly too and always made sure I had what I needed. I was lucky to be there while the owners were around, and they were great people. All the best to Shark Town. 10/10.

The neighborhood was fairly quiet, and both the room and hotel stayed very clean. There's a small pool with sunbeds for relaxing. Our modern room had a large, comfortable bed, couch, dining table, and small kitchen where you could cook a decent meal. My girlfriend and I stayed three nights while visiting Santa Teresa. Shark Town is a small hotel not far from the main road. Alonso was polite, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. A good value, and a recommendable place.

We already miss Shark Town! It's in a great spot, walkable to the beach and restaurants but away from Santa Teresa's heavy traffic. The apartment was practical and had great TVs, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, AC, a fully equipped kitchen, good beds, and warm showers. There was plenty of parking out front and it felt very safe. We enjoyed the pool and celebrated NYE on the rooftop deck. The people were the best part. Sabrina kept in touch by WhatsApp and helped arrange several tours and transportation. Alonso was always available with suggestions for local spots, and even lent us his speaker for the NYE celebration. If you're staying in the area, Shark Town is the place to be!
