After trekking, canyoning, or rafting, it was great to come back to this quiet, comfortable bungalow. It’s close to La Fortuna and the main activities, but tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. The place was spotless, breakfast was great, and greenery and birds surrounded us. Hearing howler monkeys calling in the morning made it feel like a real escape into nature, while still being convenient.

The owners were so helpful, pointing out the sloths living in the trees around our bungalow and sharing tips for good, affordable experiences. It’s a luxurious, comfortable place in a quiet, beautiful area, a short distance outside La Fortuna and close to lots of good adventures.

The hosts made us feel very welcome and shared great ideas for things to do nearby. The place was spotless and spectacular, and breakfast was delicious.

Leydi and Jao made our stay feel special. They were accommodating, went looking for sloths and other wildlife with us, and even brought us fresh coconuts. The homemade breakfast was a lovely bonus. We were also glad to be so well placed for getting to Arenal and La Fortuna. This was a highlight of our Costa Rica trip, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. Jou and Leydi were welcoming, friendly, quick to respond, and had useful recommendations. Before we arrived, we exchanged plenty of messages, and they arranged a night tour at a nearby family farm that we loved. The place was new and comfortable, the breakfast was filling and delicious, and there’s even a resident sloth.
