We stayed in one of the studio Thai houses, and the architecture and room were beautiful. It was clean and cozy, with fresh air coming through. The garden is gorgeous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Since we had an early tour and would miss breakfast, they arranged a packed lunch and kindly made us coffee early. There's an amazing beach across the street. We enjoyed a sunset walk, then drove a short way to Puerto Viejo for dinner. The hotel partly borders the main road, so traffic noise may bother some people, though we slept well. A friendly local toucan even came onto our veranda and hung out with us for a while. Wow! We highly recommend Lanna Ban.

Breakfast was the best part! Our family felt safe and welcome at Lanna Ban Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool was warm, probably one of the best we've been to. There's private parking, and all the staff were very kind and provided amazing service.

The breakfast was great and the service was good. It's a very nice hotel, but the front cabins are right beside the street and much too loud. The shower pressure was good, though the water wasn't hot.

I chose this place for its position outside the noisy town, while still being an easy walk from several nice restaurants. The beaches at Punta Uva are an easy ride by bike or tuk-tuk. The staff at reception were friendly, and the garden breakfast was lovely: a large plate of fruit and a dish of your choice. I especially liked the pancakes. The grounds are well kept, and the pool is a nice extra. We could see the sea from our bungalow's little terrace, and it was relaxing to sit in a rocking chair and watch the world go by. The Balinese-style bungalows are beautiful, though they have wooden shutters instead of real windows, so some road noise gets in. It was luckily not much at night. There's no AC, just ceiling fans, but that was fine for us as the fans were enough. The thing I really missed was a minibar or fridge. They give you free water bottles at reception, but they're warm, and there's no way to get cold drinking water. We really enjoyed our stay and I'd happily book again. Viva Argentina!🙂

We planned to move to another hotel but ended up staying five extra days. The location was perfect for beaches and parks, right next to Jaguar Rescue Center. Emanuel (Ema), Andre, and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful, sharing lots of information about wildlife and local tours. The rooms were clean and nice, with exotic wood, and breakfast was included and delicious. Coffee and bottled water were available anytime. The staff were amazing!
